Merry Christmas!

Is Becca so pumped because she has missed us so much and is so happy about spending Christmas in Arizona with the Hatches? Well maybe, but mostly I think she is just excited that she got her dream gift, a pair of purple Hanna Montana pajama pants. I can't speak for her, but I am pretty sure this was the exact moment that her 20 hour road trip became worth it.

An exciting Hatch Family Christmas gift exchange ensues. We played musical gifts, where we traded gifts until the music stopped, then had the chance to keep or trade the gift in our hand. I felt pretty lucky when we got the finger paints, until later when the kids were actually painting with them.

Sophie dresses up in her new princess costume. This will get used often by Sophie and her princess friends.

Jake and Wes try their hand on Guitar Hero. This was Jake's favorite gift this year. He caught on quick and can jam with the best of them already.

DB can't contain his excitement as he is about to open his one Christmas Eve gift. He was quickly subdued when he discovered his mystery package was pajamas. Don't pity him, as he was showered with gifts a short 12 hours later by his generous grandparents and aunts.

Wes becomes an easy target for the newly acquired Nerf Dart Gun.

Cookie humors us by leaving her Santa hat on long enough for the kids to see. She is a good sport but was awfully anxious to be rid of that thing.
