Christmas Bliss

Sophie feels the holiday spirit. She was so excited to help decorate the tree. It is nice to have her somewhat past the pull the ornaments off the bottom half of the tree stage. We do have a thick cluster of ornaments at the kids' eye level. I could have let my OCD rearrange them, but I have shown restraint so far. It is their work of art and I need to let it be as not to offend them.

Sophie is also concerned about looking her best for all the festivities, evidenced by her application of an entire bottle of foundation on her face and hands and clothes and carpet. But doesn't she look stunning?!
This is never a good sign. Just when we thought our carpet couldn't possibly get any dirtier. Why do kids never do this stuff on tile? It's almost instinctual. The bright side: it could have been nail polish. Oh and don't think it hasn't been before.

The budding make up artist flaunts her work. (A bit of advice: Can you get a bit more on your face and less on the carpet next time?)
