Bruce and Becca's house was a sight for a sore eyes after two days on the road. We were graciously welcomed on Pioneer Day Eve. Pioneer Day goes viturally unoticed everywhere else, but let me tell you Utah is the place to be on July 24! Utah doesn't adhere to those silly "We're in a desert and a drought so no fireworks" nonsense. Bring on the TNT! And bring on the TNT we did.
First we gave all the small children sparklers.

Becca commented that we celebrated just like those first pioneers with plenty of food and explosives. Makes perfect sense.
