Sometimes The Snow Comes Down In June.

Well not here, but somewhere I am sure it is snowing if it is this beautiful in Phoenix. I did nothing to deserve this summer reprieve, but we will take it. Wes is home from his annual scout camp week and I have returned all little people I did not gestate to their rightful owners. Suddenly my life seems remarkably easy, by comparison to last week. Wes is pretty helpful around here and also doubles as my IT specialist, so as an added bonus I have renewed contact with the Internet, email, and my phone. I can stop using smoke signals to communicate .

Here are some pictures from last week that are purely posted to compensate for the fact that I probably will never complete a scrapbook for my kids. (Sorry kids, print the blog if you feel slighted because your mama don't scrap.)
I love the lighting in this picture. I've always thought Jake has a great profile, although his hair is screaming, "My mom cut it!" Jake desperately wants long hair. With those chops, he is well on his way. Also, doesn't he look like one of those Old Navy mannequins?
A sucker and a tree to climb= the good life for a five year old.
Cute Lani enjoying a wild swing ride on a balmy June evening.

The kids enjoy yet another birthday celebration.
