Wedding Day: AJ Style.

Kacee and Ken tied the knot this weekend. Our kids were honored to be invited to be part of the celebration. The plan was to have Jake walk Kacee down the isle, Dylan be the ring bearer, and Sophie to be the flower girl. Unfortunately, Jake came home from school sick on Friday and has been in bed with a fever all weekend. With his huge spotted tonsils as my clue, I will confirm tomorrow that it is strep throat. So, DB stepped up and played the dual role of escort and ring bearer. Jake cried when he realized he was too sick to go, but DB stepped up and loved playing such an important role to two people my kids adore.
Kacee and Ken live on a huge lot in Apache Junction with beautiful views of the Superstition Mountains. It was an unconventional reception. They did away with a lot of traditions that frankly need to be done away with. Good food, good folks, good tunes, and casual dress. The weather could not have been more perfect, and the full moon provided some nice ambiance.
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Bradley!
Dylan continues his long streak of photos that make him look like he is of less than normal intelligence. (I'm considering dedicating an entire post to this phenomenon.) His report cards suggest otherwise, but he seems to enjoy tormenting his blogger mom with these goofball smiles. You'll just have to take my word that he looked cute.
Sorry other flower girls... you can't argue with the shirt. Cutest Flower Girl...EVER. Don't think she doesn't know it.
Congrats Kacee and Ken!
