Sleep, Where Art Thou?

Nobody is sleeping at my house. I swear it is worse than when my kids were infants. Jake got some book fair money from his sweet teacher for babysitting the class chinchilla and proceeded to buy a book entitled "Dark Pond". Now he is afraid to sleep in his own bed and is waking up several times a night with nightmares about being eaten by animals. DB's bladder holds about an ounce at a time, so he always wakes to pee and has to come in to my room to let me know or leaves the bathroom light on to burn my retinas for the rest of the night. Sophie has a great bladder and can go what seems like days, but she does vividly reenact Dora episodes in her sleep. Since we share a wall to our bedrooms, I hear all the details about Boots and Swiper in the wee hours. Wes is working hard to have our business survive this crappy economy and often tosses and turns as he tries to shut his always going brain off. Might be time for a Temprapedic mattress and/or some junior strength Ambien.

Nighty, night. Hope yours is better than mine.
