You Plug My Business, I'll Watch Your Crappy Team

It's been a rough season for the D-Backs. They pretty much gave up on any playoff aspirations oh around 100 games ago. Let's be honest, it's no fun to watch a team lose night after night, so crowds have been pretty thin lately. So the marketing folks at Chase Field contacted Wes and invited him to Youth Sports Day. Cheap seats, a parade on the field for as many kids as want to participate, and some significant jumbo-tron time. (Who doesn't love to watch little kids running on the field?) Plus Amazing Athletes got mentioned by the announcer as the parade of kids went by. The only catch was that they wanted only the kids and coaches on the field, not parents. That's fine for the 10 year-olds on baseball teams, but is a little trickier for Wes' set of 2 to 4 year olds. He put Jake in charge of DB and Sophie and did his best to not lose the rest of them. (Successfully, I should add.)
The parade on the big screen.
You can see Wes in the black hat behind the security guy leading the way holding two of the kids hands.
The kids ate up the bright lights and attention from the crowd.
My three favorite Amazing Athletes.
Sophie's a die hard fan, foam finger and all.

I'm not sure this will cause a huge increase in business, but the kids had a good time.
