So here are our low budget costumes for this year. Jake and DB donned Wes' old Joe City football jerseys and some duct taped dish towels for shoulder pads. Sophie is a cheerleader and Wes went way out of character and put on his coach's whistle. It doesn't matter it turns out, you still get candy even if your costumes are lame.
We had a lot of visitors on Halloween including the newlyweds, Ken and Kacee. They had sweet costumes, so I couldn't resist.

The kids combined all their Halloween booty for a grand total of 206 pieces of candy. Clearly, it has not affected Jake's six pack...yet. However if he doesn't slow his pace down, his teeth should be gone by Monday.

counting the candy has been a big thing this year. "Let's count our skittles and see who has the most!" "Now let's count the gumballs!" I listened to this all morning since our church isn't until 1pm.
